The chairman of the National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea of Democratic Congo said at a seminar that toward the close of the last century the Korean people had to make the "Arduous March" and the forced march due to the collapse of socialism in Eastern European countries, the imperialist allied forces' moves to stifle the DPRK, consecutive years of natural disasters and other causes, but they reliably defended socialism, braving the manifold hardships under the Songun politics pursued by Kim Jong Il.

The chairman of the National Committee of the Genuine Lumumbist Patriotic Party of Democratic Congo pointed out that the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet clique are now intensifying the moves to stifle the DPRK as never before after orchestrating the warship "Cheonan" case. If the aggressors dare to provoke a new war in the Korean Peninsula they would suffer a shameful defeat from the DPRK which formed a harmonious whole of the leader, the Party and the masses and built its powerful defence capability, he stressed.

The chief of a branch of the Ethiopian Youth Study Group of the Juche Idea said at a seminar that Kim Jong Il has paid deep attention to the youth movement and wisely led the Korean youths to perform feats in building a great prosperous and powerful nation.

The participants of the film shows watched Korean films "Fireworks for a Thriving Nation", "the Tower of the Juche Idea", "Night of Pyongyang" and "Reply of Korea".

A message of greetings to Kim Jong Il was adopted at the seminar in Democratic Congo.

Meanwhile a seminar and a film show were held in Egypt and film shows in France, Russia and Nepal on June 8 and 9 to mark the 46th anniversary of Kim Jong Il's start of work at the C.C., the WPK and the 10th anniversary of the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration.
