The statement noted that the inter-Korean relations have been driven to a collapse and the situation of the Korean Peninsula reached the worst phase owing to the anti-DPRK campaign of the south Korean puppet authorities which are inciting confrontation while totally denying the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration and the October 4 declaration.

It strongly demanded that the south Korean authorities accept the inspection group of the DPRK and immediately stop the anti-DPRK confrontation racket.

Supporting the principled stand of the DPRK on the case of warship "Cheonan's" sinking, the statement extended solidarity to the Korean people's just struggle for dignity and sovereignty of the country.
