Present there were Choe Thae Bok, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Thae Hyong Chol, president of the Academy of Social Sciences, officials, teachers, researchers and lecturers in the fields of the preservation of revolutionary relics, science and education and party cadre training institutions.

Presented at the seminar were six papers dealing with the facts that Kim Il Sung laid down the principles of the Juche idea, the Songun idea and the Juche-oriented line of the Korean revolution at the Kalun Meeting and explaining and proving their originality and truth.

Speakers recalled that the most scientific and revolutionary guiding idea, line and strategy and tactics were provided thanks to the President's rare wisdom and outstanding ideological and theoretical activities.

Noting that the President defined the Korean revolution as the anti-imperialist, anti-feudal democratic revolution, they stressed that this was a historic event which clarified the character of the Korean revolution and a great discovery as it newly indicated the type of revolution to be carried out in the colonial and semi-colonial countries.

The Kalun Meeting was a historical meeting which powerfully demonstrated the will of the Korean people to defeat the Japanese imperialists and liberate the country with arms, they noted, proving that the President clarified from a new angle the essence, objects and position of a united front on the basis of the Juche idea and the originality of the policy for founding a party including the principled stand and others to be firmly adhered to in the building of a revolutionary party of the working class.

They explained that it is the unshakable will of the Party, the army and the people of the DPRK to invariably hold high the banner of Juche, the banner of Songun under the leadership of General Secretary Kim Jong Il.
