At the meeting the Management Board chairman of a cooperative farm spoke of the experience gained by the farm in rice-transplantation.

After listening to the chairman's speech carefully, the President expressed satisfaction over the farm's fine experience and said he learned a good thing at the meeting.

He then told the participants in the meeting that peasants were teachers in farming and that he, not being a peasant, knew well about farming because he had learned from them.

He had often met peasants on fields to discuss the farm work and teach them farming methods he personally found out on experimental fields in his residence. But he called them teachers in farming.

The participants in the meeting were deeply impressed by his modest attitude.
