GNP's Anti-DPRK "Resolution" Assailed
Pyongyang, July 2 (KCNA) -- The group of the Grand National Party of south Korea rammed a "resolution critical of the north" over sinking case of warship "Cheonan" through the full-dress "National Assembly" session on June 29 in the wake of railroading it through the "NA Defence Commission". The conservative group in the "resolution" talked about "violation" and "provocation", again asserting that the warship was sunk by a "torpedo attack" of the north. It went the lengths of crying out for "apology", "punishment" and "reparation" from someone while demanding the authorities and the international community take "tough countermeasures" and make "close international cooperation".

Rodong Sinmun Friday observes in a signed commentary in this regard:

With the passage the Lee Myung Bak group completely legalized and systematized fratricidal confrontation and pushed the situation to a more extreme phase under the pretext of the tricky case.

The passage of the "resolution" through the puppet NA session is nothing but a dirty farce to breathe new life into its worn-out conspiratorial racket and save the plummeted honor of plot-breeders.

The puppet group made itself busy referring the "results of investigation" to countries around the Korean Peninsula and the UN only to be snubbed and get the cold shoulder. To make things worse, local voices demanding comprehensive reinvestigation into the case and an "inspection of the state administration" are growing, troubling the conservative group.

The GNP group's carriage of the "resolution" through the NA is nothing but a desperate last-ditch effort of those much upset by the disclosure of the truth about the case.

The Lee group should not run amuck, clearly understanding that its extreme confrontation racket is a self-suicidal act of accelerating their shameful end.
