Rodong Sinmun Monday observes in a signed commentary in this regard:

This is a deliberate and premeditated provocative move to spark off a military conflict between the north and the south and, on this basis, ignite a war of aggression against the DPRK at any cost.

The above-said committee "recommended" the authorities to resume the "psychological warfare against the north" with lies, mud-slinging and sophism. This is an unpardonable insult to the system and dignity of the DPRK and another grave provocation to it.

The above-mentioned warfare is aimed at malignantly slandering the dignified socialist system in the DPRK which its people value as their life and soul and whitewashing the reality of the corrupt society of south Korea. Through the despicable false propaganda the group of traitors seeks to do harm to the single-minded unity and mental power of the army and people of the DPRK in a bid to attain their ambition for invading it with ease.

The situation prevailing on the Korean Peninsula due to the case of sunk warship faked up by the group of traitors is so tense that a war may break out any moment. The Lee Myung Bak group is unhesitatingly seeking to stage the above-said drills and resume the said warfare against this backdrop. These are reckless actions which can be taken only by those who are keen to unleash a war of aggression against the DPRK.

The Korean People's Army will take merciless and decisive retaliatory measures against the puppet group's full participation in PSI and projected resumption of the "psychological warfare against the north" as it had already warned. The Lee Myung Bak group of traitors will be held wholly accountable for all the ensuing disastrous consequences, warns the commentary.
