The bulletin in an article said that Kim Il Sung was born as the son of the people and did his best for them.

It went on:

Kim Il Sung, born at a low-roof thatched house, grew up witnessing the wretched fate of the Korean people under the Japanese imperialists' colonial rule. He embarked on the road of the revolutionary struggle with a firm faith to build a new society in which the people have become the master of the country on the land of Korea without fail.

Saying that Kim Il Sung shared the destiny with the people, not keeping them at a distance, the bulletin praised his popular personality as the peerlessly great man who devoted himself to the people's happiness, not expecting any privilege and benefit.

It stressed:

The President could have led the country and the people for nearly 50 years since the liberation of Korea because he enjoyed the support and confidence of the people. All the people of the country are firmly united as one around their leader. This is an important key to the emergence of the DPRK as an invincible socialist power independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in national defence.

The bulletin stressed that Kim Il Sung will always live in the hearts of progressive humankind.
