At the meeting they said that the Pyongyang visit of Rev. Han Sang Ryol is a great patriotic deed to contribute to upholding and implementing the historic June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration, programme for carrying it out.

They extended full support and solidarity to the youth and students and other people in south Korea in their dynamic struggle to frustrate the treacherous and anti-reunification moves of the Lee Myung Bak group and achieve the democratization of society and the country's reunification.

Han underscored the need for the youth, the masters of a new history, to wage a dynamic struggle by carrying forward the patriotic soul of the forerunners.

He stressed that the youth in the south and the north should firmly join hands and dynamically advance till the day when they will shout hurrah for June 15 reunification.

Earlier, he visited the Patriotic Martyrs Cemetery and the Mt. Ryongak Recreation Ground, both in the suburbs of Pyongyang.
