Speakers at the seminar pointed out that the "committee" has been reduced to a prostitute for power after Hyon Pyong Chol took post as its head.

They charged that reading the face of the "government", the "committee" has overlooked such grave human rights violations as investigation into producers of "PD" by the prosecution, violent repression of Ryongsan evacuees by the police and the ban on evening rallies without expressing any view about the actions.

Worse still, it chimed in with the conservative forces' anti-DPRK "human rights" racket and persistently attempted to pass a "bill recommending the resumption of psychological warfare" against the DPRK, they stated.

They declared that they would fight it out to get Hyon resigned and reject the authorities' intervention in the affairs of the "committee".
