An awarding ceremony was held on July 21.

The title of academician went to Pak Je Un, room chief of Wonsan University of Agriculture, and the titles of candidate academician to O Hui Bok, teacher at Kim Il Sung University, Rim Thae Gun, head of a department of the university, and Ri Pong Sik, teacher at Kim Chaek University of Technology.

Professorship was conferred upon Kim Pyong Suk, guidance lecturer at the Grand People's Study House, Kim Jong Ung, head of a department of a branch school of University of Science.

Doctorate went to Choe Su Nam and Ri Chol Su, heads of departments of Kim Il Sung University, Kim Jong Gil, dean of a faculty of Pyongyang Medical College of Kim Il Sung University, Pak Nam Su, researcher at Kim Chaek University of Technology, and others. And assistant professorship was awarded to 50 persons.
