The UNSC in its recent presidential statement took heed of the stand of the DPRK that it had nothing to do with the case of the sunk warship "Cheonan", the statement said, and went on:

This was a great diplomatic victory of the DPRK.

The U.S. and the south Korean authorities' plot to make a mockery of the world public opinion through the U.N. forum went bust.

The Korean people are the great people who shattered the myth of the U.S. "mightiness" and defended the freedom and independence of the country in the Korean War in the 1950s.

We extend full support and solidarity to the DPRK in its efforts to smash the imperialists' moves to stifle it and defend its sovereignty and dignity.

The south Korean authorities should immediately receive the inspection group of the DPRK National Defence Commission and the U.S. and south Korea should stop escalating the tension on the Korean Peninsula under the pretext of the "Cheonan" case.
