It contains 42 works of President Kim Il Sung including his speeches, conclusions and talks between January and December in Juche 79 (1990).

The work "Let Us Bring the Advantages of Socialism in Our Country into Full Play" clarifies the essential nature, advantages and invincibility of socialism in the DPRK which embodied the Juche idea in all fields and indicates tasks and ways to push ahead with the drive to accomplish the cause of socialism.

Kim Il Sung in his work "The Fundamental Way of Achieving Victory in the Revolution Is to Strengthen the Party and Increase Its Leadership Role" gave perfect answers to the issues of further strengthening the WPK organizationally and ideologically by thoroughly adhering to the Juche-oriented principle of party-building and fully establishing the party's leadership over the revolution and construction.

The book contains works which set forth tasks and ways for increasing the might of the independent national economy by accelerating the socialist economic construction, laying a solid material and technical foundation and radically improving the standard of people's living.

In such works as "The Reunification of Our Country Should Be Achieved on the Three Principles of National Reunification" and "The Formation of Chongryon Is a Historic Event That Brought About a Radical Turn in the Development of the Movement of Koreans in Japan" the President indicated the orientation and ways to push ahead with the struggle for national reunification and the movement of overseas compatriots.

The book also contains works which give answers to the theoretical and practical matters arising in various fields including the issues of helping the honored disabled soldiers keep the flowers of the revolution in bloom and successfully training talented children.
