US Accused of Forcing S. Korea into Trade Renegotiations

Pyongyang, July 25 (KCNA) -- The Headquarters of the All-People Movement for Checking the Conclusion of the south Korea-U.S. Free Trade Agreement (FTA) in south Korea held a press conference in Seoul on July 21 in protest against renegotiations on the conclusion of the "FTA" with the United States.

At the press conference the organization condemned the U.S. for forcing the south Korean "government" to conduct renegotiations on vehicles and open more south Korean markets for the U.S. beef for the conclusion of the "FTA".

It urged the "government" not to respond to the U.S. demand for "FTA" renegotiations but categorically reject it. The organization also demanded the "government" not yield to the U.S. pressure to import more American beef.
