Premier League Soccer Matches End

| Pyongyang, July 26 (KCNA) -- The fourth round of the premier league soccer matches, held at Kim Il Sung Stadium in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea for some 30 days, has come to an end. Participating in the matches were eleven men's and eight women's teams. The April 25, Sobaeksu and Amnokgang teams took the first three places in the men's matches and the April 25, Amnokgang and Jebi teams in the women's matches. Eighty-three matches (55 men's matches and 28 women's matches) took place in the latest round and 227 goals were recorded, 2.7 goals per match. The premier league has served as a stimulus to the soccer development in the country. |
