Lee Myung Bak Group's Fascist Crackdown under Fire
Pyongyang, July 27 (KCNA) -- South Korean organizations denounced the Lee Myung Bak group for its frantic suppression under the pretext of security.

The South Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance for Korea's Reunification (Pomminryon) in its statement on July 20 accused the "Security Investigation Group" under the Taegu District Police Agency of forcibly searching the house of O Thaek Jin, general secretary of the Taegu and North Kyongsang Provincial Federation of Pomminryon, on July 19 on charge of violation of the "National Security Law".

The statement also condemned the fascist authorities for taking such repressive actions as closing the internet homepage of the South Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance of Youth and Students for Korea's Reunification and issuing again warrants for arrest of Choe Yong Ok, vice-chairwoman of the Committee for Independent Reunification of the Solidarity for Progress of south Korea, and Jong Tae Yon, former chairman for Policies of the solidarity.

Chiding the Lee group for steadily getting frantic with its anachronistic crackdown, not yet coming to its senses after suffering a heavy defeat in the "elections to local self-governing bodies", the statement called upon broad strata of people to wage dynamic actions to check and foil the Lee group's fascist suppression.

The Solidarity for Implementing the South-North Joint Declaration in its statement on July 23 accused the Supreme Court of taking such fascist actions as sentencing to two years in jail Kim Song Il, a member of the organization, after labeling it an "enemy-benefiting organization."

The Solidarity is active for implementation of the June 15 joint declaration, reconciliation and cooperation between the south and the north and reunification, the statement said, declaring that the above-said label attached to the organization amounts to an anti- reunification act perpetrated on charge of violation of the NSL, an outdated evil law.
