Pyongyang, July 27 (KCNA) -- Papers Tuesday editorially call for eternally glorifying Songun Korea's ever-victorious history on the occasion of the 57th anniversary of the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War. Rodong Sinmun says that the victory in the war was a shining one won thanks to the wise leadership of President Kim Il Sung and the ideological and moral power of all the servicepersons and people who formed a community in which they were united with the leader by the same destiny. He is a mainstay of their faith and a symbol of victory, it notes, and goes on: The victorious history of the country which has remained shining generation after generation is a history of great victory of the Songun idea, the Songun revolutionary line of the Workers' Party of Korea, a history of victory of the great army-people unity that has grown strong under the leadership of the WPK and a history of victory of the strong faith in independence and the transparent working class principle of all the servicepersons and people. The Songun leadership of General Secretary Kim Jong Il provided political and military guarantees for glorifying the ever-victorious history generation after generation and encouraged them to perform heroic feats of the century to shine in the struggle to defend socialism and build a thriving nation. The paper calls on the whole party and army and all the people to emerge victorious in the drive for building a thriving nation just as they won the last war, holding higher the banner of Songun, and greet the 65th anniversary of the founding of the WPK and its conference with great innovations and leap forward. Minju Joson notes that a very rosy future awaits the DPRK which advances holding Kim Jong Il in high esteem. It calls on everybody to make the ever-victorious history and tradition shine forever and dynamically struggle to build a thriving nation and accomplish the revolutionary cause of Juche.
