The statement noted that the Korean people could overcome the trials of the fierce war and inflict a crushing defeat upon the U.S. imperialists and their lackeys and achieve the historic victory as they bravely fought with one will and purpose under the correct leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea and the government of DPRK.

The victory in the Fatherland Liberation War was attributable to the Juche-oriented military tactics and the Songun idea of President Kim Il Sung, it stressed.

The statement warned that if the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet forces provoke another Korean war, they will sustain a defeat thousand times heavier than that they did in the 1950s from the Korean people.

Vishwanath, director-general of the International Institute of the Juche Idea, said in a statement on the same day that the victory won by the Korean people in the three-year war takes a prominent position in the history of the DPRK, adding that the Korean people are the heroic people who inflicted a disastrous defeat on the U.S. for the first time in history.

Harising Khang, member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of India (Marxist), stressed in his statement on the same day that the great victory won by the WPK and the Korean people in the Fatherland Liberation War is the victory with which they shattered the myth of the United States' "mightiness" to defend the freedom and independence of the country and gave confidence to the peoples of all countries suffering from the imperialist tyranny.
