The bulletin carried a photograph of President Kim Il Sung addressing a mass rally held in Pyongyang to celebrate the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War and another photograph of him among servicepersons of the Korean People's Army together with articles titled "Comrade Kim Il Sung who made undying contribution to the cause of global independence" and "The invincible and iron-willed commander."

The bulletin said in the articles that Kim Il Sung was not only the father of socialist Korea but a great pioneer of the era of independence.

It went on:

The President founded the undying Juche idea and applied it to all fields of the revolution and construction and gave perfect answers to the theoretical and practical issues arising in the struggle for making the whole world independent.

He steered the anti-Japanese armed struggle and the Fatherland Liberation War to victory, setting an example in the national liberation struggle in colonies and the struggle to protect the sovereignty of the country and nation. He turned the DPRK into a socialist power independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in national defence and sincerely helped peoples of developing countries in their drive for building a new society.

The bulletin stressed that Kim Il Sung clearly indicated the way of developing the non-aligned movement and reviving socialism.
