Kim Yong Nam Conveys Sympathy to Chinese President

| Pyongyang, August 11 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, and Choe Yong Rim, premier of the DPRK Cabinet, on Tuesday sent messages of sympathy to Hu Jintao, president of China, and Wen Jiabao, premier of the State Council of China, in connection with the recent landslide that hit Zhuqu County, Gansu Province and consecutive days of torrential rain which struck different parts of China, claiming heavy casualties and material losses. They in the messages extended deep sympathy and consolation to the president, the premier, the government and people of China and the victims and their bereaved families and sincerely hoped that the people in the afflicted areas would eradicate the aftermath of the natural disasters and bring their living to normal as early as possible under the leadership of the Communist Party of China and the Chinese government. |
