Present there were officials of the Central Committee of the youth league, youth and students in Pyongyang and members of the Chinese youth friendship delegation.

Speakers at the meeting referred to the fact that the DPRK-China friendship provided by President Kim Il Sung together with Chinese revolutionaries of the elder generation has grown stronger under the deep care of General Secretary Kim Jong Il and President Hu Jintao.

They called upon the young peoples of the two countries to contribute to steadily developing the DPRK-China friendship, the common wealth of the two countries.

The meeting was followed by an art performance given by the Art Squad of the Central Committee of the youth league and young Chinese artistes.

Members of the art squad put on the stage colorful numbers including chorus "Party Represents Care of the General", mixed chorus "Push Back the Frontiers of Latest Science and Technology", dance "Girls Digging out Shellfish", male solo of Chinese song "Song for One" and female solo of Chinese song "True Hero".

Young Chinese artistes presented female solo "In the Hope-filled Field", chorus "Jasmine Flower" and chorus of Korean song "Arirang" and others.

The art performance was followed by a pleasant dancing party of young peoples of the two countries.
