Displayed there are new products, models, sand tables, diagrams and multi-media on at least 1,100 valuable inventions and new technologies appreciated at ministries and national institutions.

On display there are many achievements that help put IT and NANO technology, bio-engineering and others on the latest level as required by the IT age and make a substantial contribution to bringing about a turn in developing the nation's economy and improving the standard of people's living.

The dissemination of new science and technology will take place in diverse forms and methods including public presentations and technological workshop and discussions will be held on the issues of introducing and generalizing scientific and technological achievements in production and construction while the exhibition is under way.

Present at the opening ceremony were Jon Ha Chol, vice-premier of the Cabinet, Ri Ja Bang, chairman of the State Science and Technology Commission, Kim Yong Jin, chairman of the Education Commission, Jang Chol, president of the State Academy of Sciences, officials concerned, scientists and technicians.
