Present there were Kim Ki Nam, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned, officials of party and administrative bodies and working people's organizations and officials in the fields of science and education, those of party cadre-training institutions, media, literary and art institutions and those in the field of preservation of revolutionary and historic sites.

Presented at the seminar were five papers explaining and proving the leadership exploits to be specially recorded in the history of strengthening and developing the Korean revolutionary armed forces and carrying out the revolutionary cause of Juche Kim Jong Il has performed up to this date since he started his Songun revolutionary leadership by visiting the Seoul Ryu Kyong Su 105 Guards Tank Division.

Speakers said that his start of Songun revolutionary leadership marked a historical event of epochal significance in accomplishing the revolutionary cause of Juche.

They noted that Kim Jong Il regarded the People's Army as a main force of revolution taking the lead in upholding the idea and leadership of the party and saw to it that ceaseless miracles and innovations were brought about in all fields of revolution and construction through the increased role of the army. In this course he provided a sure guarantee for accomplishing the Songun revolutionary cause, they added.

They stressed that the Songun politics of the WPK is the great politics attaching importance to idea as it encourages the entire army and all the people to bring about heydays of national prosperity and a great political mode as it caused great miracles and innovations to take place in all fabrics of social life.

They called for energetically opening the gate to a thriving nation, regarding his Songun revolutionary leadership exploits as the lifeline of the party.
