Art Contest of GFTU Primary Organizations Held

| Pyongyang, August 20 (KCNA) -- A national art contest of primary organizations of the General Federation of Trade Unions took place in Phyongsong, South Phyongan Province, from Aug. 17 to 19 on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of General Secretary Kim Jong Il's start of the Songun revolutionary leadership. The contest brought together more than 300 members of the GFTU selected in different provinces. Put on the stage were numbers highly praising the undying exploits Kim Jong Il has performed by bringing about epoch-making changes on this land with his unique Songun politics. Narrative poem and song "Appearance of the DPRK", singing and story-telling "This Is Thanks to the Songun Politics of General", chorus "Oh, My Motherland of Songun", etc. mesmerized the audience as they reflected the ardent enthusiasm and firm faith of workers and members of the GFTU remaining true to the Songun leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea. |
