Displayed in their venue are more than 680 art pieces of different kinds--Korean paintings, oil paintings, pencil drawings, pen paintings, calligraphic works, sculptures, etc.--created by military painters and servicepersons.

Among them are excellent pieces praising the undying exploits of Kim Jong Il and depicting the servicepersons who are performing feats in defending the country and building a thriving nation.

Present at the inaugural ceremony were officials of the Ministry of the People's Armed Forces, servicepersons and art creators.
