Swimming Contest of School Youth and Children

| Pyongyang, August 21 (KCNA) -- The 36th national swimming contest of school youth and children for Jongilbong Prize took place at the swimming pool of the Mangyongdae Schoolchildren's Palace from August 17 to 20 on the occasion of Youth Day. The contest, divided into groups of primary and secondary schools, brought together at least 600 boys and girls. Boys of Mangum Secondary School, Sariwon City, North Hwanghae Province and girls of Pyongyang Tonghung Secondary School came first in team standings in the group of secondary schools while boys of Pyongyang Janggyong Primary School and girls of Pyongyang Primary School No. 4 in the group of primary schools. |
