Put on the stage were such colorful numbers of diverse genres as mixed grand choruses "Song Devoted to Marshal Kim Il Sung" and "Song of General Kim Jong Il", narration and mixed chorus "Please Receive Our Salute", Ounkum ensemble and mixed Panchang "Dear General, Where Are You", dance "A Soldier Hears Rice Ears Sway", narration and mixed chorus "We Will Never Forget Those Days", female octet and mixed Panchang "Push back the Frontiers of the latest Science" and Chorus poem "Long Live the Great Songun Politics".

The performers sang high praises of the immortal revolutionary exploits of the great brilliant commander of Songun who has firmly defended the socialist homeland and ushered in a new era of prosperity and clearly reflected the unshakable faith and indomitable will of all the service persons and people to accomplish the revolutionary cause of Juche which started on Mt. Paektu and the cause of building a thriving nation, remaining single-mindedly loyal to him.

They also fully demonstrated the might of army artistes who are steering the era of Songun with loud revolutionary army songs.

He highly praised the artistes of the People's Army for having staged a splendid performance pervaded with the revolutionary spirit of Mt. Paektu and the revolutionary soldier spirit and extended thanks to all the creators and artistes.

The performance made a grand epic representation of the stirring reality in the DPRK dynamically advancing along the orbit of innovations and leap forward under the uplifted banner of Songun, he noted, underscoring the need to make the idea and spirit and work style of the People's Army to prevail throughout the society and thus energetically wage the general offensive for greeting the 65th anniversary of the WPK as a grand festival of victors in all fields.

Among the audience were Choe Yong Rim, premier of the DPRK Cabinet, KPA Vice Marshal Kim Yong Chun, vice-chairman of the NDC of the DPRK and minister of the People's Armed Forces, KPA General Ri Yong Ho, chief of the General Staff of the KPA, Choe Thae Bok, Kim Kuk Tae and Kim Ki Nam, secretaries of the C.C., the WPK, leading officials of party, armed forces and power bodies, social organizations, ministries and national institutions, servicepersons of the KPA and officials in the fields of science, education, culture and arts, public health and media.
