The light comedy, created by the then Kangwon Provincial Art Theatre in the early 1960s and recreated by the State Theatrical Troupe this year, vividly represents the noble spiritual world and revolutionary working manner of the people in the Chollima era.

It inspires people to love socialist society and add luster to the Songun era, making tremendous achievements in their work.

It also gives people the truth of life.

Seeing the performance calling for making continued innovations, not contented with what has been done, and advancing at the speed of Chollima (legendary horse running 250 miles a day), not moving slowly like a donkey, the audience resolve upon making a great leap in the building of a thriving nation as those in the Chollima era did.

After enjoying the light comedy again some time ago, General Secretary Kim Jong Il said it served as a good companion of the army and people and a textbook of their life.
