Rodong Sinmun Monday says in a signed commentary in this regard:

The Japanese imperialists were hell-bent on a germ warfare to kill everything alive, human beings or animals, in a bid to ensure a "victory" in the Second World War.

The fact tells that their germ warfare caused damage not only to Koreans and other people of Asia but to the U.S.

What merits serious attention is that they chose Korea as a site for germ weapon test. During their colonial rule over Korea, they massacred at least one million Koreans, forced 200,000 Korean women into sexual slavery and used Korea as a site for their germ weapon test. All these crimes were prompted by their inhuman policy of exterminating the Korean nation. This was hideous crimes perpetrated not only against the Korean people but against humankind.

Japan is now resorting to despicable and crafty moves to conceal all the crimes the Japanese imperialists committed in the past, including their germ warfare. But the reality indicates that with no sleight of hand it can cover up their base crimes.

Japan should honestly admit and apologize for all germ warfare atrocities committed by the Japanese imperialists during their past rule and its active involvement in the germ warfare perpetrated by the U.S. imperialists during the last Korean War.

There is no future for those who are not ready to repent of their crimes and do not make efforts to redeem them.
