The president of the Romanian Socialist Union said at a meeting that the DPRK has firmly defended the sovereignty and dignity of the country in the stand-off with the U.S. styling itself the world's "only superpower" thanks to the Songun politics pursued by Kim Jong Il.

He wished the Korean people greater success in their efforts to build a thriving nation and achieve the country's reunification under the Songun leadership of Kim Jong Il.
