Rodong Sinmun Wednesday says in a signed commentary in this regard:

It is quite nonsensical to term UFG as one for "defense." The means involved in it, its scale, contents and nature prove that the military exercises are all-out war exercises targeted against the DPRK to all intents and purposes and the largest-ever test nuclear war.

After taking office the Obama Administration let loose rhetoric to create the impression that it is "interested" in the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula while talking about "a world without nuclear weapons". But the reality goes to patently prove that its much touted plan for building "a world without nuclear weapons" and "denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula" are nothing but hypocrisy.

Through UFG the U.S. imperialists seek to pressurize and threaten the DPRK by force of arms. It is by no means fortuitous that they advertised the war maneuvers as a "demonstration of armed forces".

But the army and people of the DPRK remain unfazed by such bluffing of the warmongers. It is the independent right of a sovereign state to defend oneself.

The warmongers at home and abroad had better stop at once their reckless war racket, not misjudging the mental power and strength of the army and people of the DPRK.
