Among the audience were senior state officials, the chairpersons of the friendly parties, officials of party and armed forces and power organs, social organizations, ministries and national institutions, servicepersons of the Korean People's Army and the Korean People's Internal Security Forces and working people in the city.

Present there on invitation were overseas Koreans, the chief of the Pyongyang mission of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front, diplomatic envoys of different countries and members of the military attaches corps and representatives of international organizations here.

In such numbers as grand mixed chorus "Song Devoted to Marshal Kim Il Sung", group dance and mixed chorus "Let's Defend the Party with Our Lives" and mixed chorus "Our General is the Best", the performers sang high praises of the undying five-decade long history of Kim Jong Il who has successfully carried forward the Songun revolutionary cause of Juche started by President
Kim Il Sung, thus protecting the destiny of the country and the nation and ushering in a new era of prosperity on this land.

Also put on the stage were colorful numbers depicting servicepersons performing feats as guardians of the destiny of the country and creators of people's happiness and the proud appearance of the country blessed with Songun under the care of the illustrious commander of Mt. Paektu.
