Attending there were delegates elected at party organizations of units at all levels including organs, enterprises and cooperative farms belonging to relevant party committees.

The meetings were unanimous in saying that the WPK conference to be held this significant year marking the 65th birthday of the glorious WPK will be a significant conference which will be a landmark of an epochal turn in strengthening the Party and a great jubilee of great significance in ushering in a new surge in the revolution and construction under the uplifted banner of Songun.

They referred to the fact that General Secretary Kim Jong Il has performed undying feats to shine long in the history of the country by leading the Party and the revolution for a long period.

They noted that Kim Jong Il has devoted his all to the triumphant advance of the revolutionary cause of Juche and the eternal prosperity of Kim Il Sung's Korea.

They stressed that Kim Jong Il provided a sure guarantee for the accomplishment of the revolutionary cause of Juche by strengthening the WPK into a powerful staff of the revolution in which unitary idea and leadership are fully ensured under the banner of modeling the whole Party on the Juche idea and a genuine mother's party which is leading the destiny and future of the people, fully responsible for them.

They pointed to the distinguished feats he has performed by unrolling the original Songun politics and training the People's Army into an invincible revolutionary army capable of beating back any formidable enemy at a single stroke and turning the socialist country into an impregnable fortress, thus making it possible to firmly protect the dignity of Kim Il Sung's nation and the prosperity of the generations to come.

They pointed out that thanks to the noble personality of Kim Jong Il as a great man and his lofty benevolent politics the army and people of the DPRK are united closer as an invincible harmonious whole in which they share intention and destiny with each other.

They noted that a grand blueprint for the nation's prosperity was unrolled and the revolutionary soldier spirit and the Kanggye spirit were given full play to make the brilliant history of a great revolutionary surge shine century after century, cause signal events of bringing earlier the day of appearance of a thriving nation to take place in every part of the country and effect new leap forward and innovations one after another in every unit and at each post thanks to the forced march made by Kim Jong Il for indefatigable field guidance with superhuman will, inexhaustible energy and ardent love for the people.

The meetings elected delegates to the provincial (municipal) party meetings of delegates.

Those elected at the meetings were the officials and party members who distinguished themselves in implementing the Party's line and policies in the spirit of defending the leader with their lives and implementing the leader's instructions, remaining loyal to the Songun revolutionary leadership of
Kim Jong Il.
