Kim Yong Nam Meets Vietnamese Delegation

| Pyongyang, August 30 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, met and had a friendly talk with the delegation of political officials of the Vietnam People's Army headed by Lieut. General Ngo Xuan Lich, deputy head of the General Political Department, at the Mansudae Assembly Hall Monday. The head of the delegation said that while visiting several places during his stay, he witnessed the appearance of the DPRK army and people rallied around the Workers' Party of Korea and the leader in single mind and the successes achieved in the building of the economy and national defence. He expressed conviction that the DPRK army and people will achieve greater successes in safeguarding the country and building socialism under the leadership of Supreme Commander Kim Jong Il. |
