The Communist Workers' Party of Finland for the Peace and Socialism said in a statement that Kim Jong Il has provided wise Songun leadership over the Korean revolution for 50 years, adding that the Songun politics has become a basic political mode under socialism, displaying its great vitality in victoriously advancing the Korean revolution and establishing independence.

The party full supports the Songun politics of Kim Jong Il and expresses firm conviction that the Korean people will achieve only success in building a thriving nation, noted the statement.

The Finnish Communists' League in a statement extended invariable support and solidarity to the Songun politics of Kim Jong Il and sincerely wished the Korean people success in their efforts to build a prosperous socialist state under the uplifted banner of Songun.

Juzef Lachut, chairman of the National Executive Committee of the Polish Communist Party, in a statement on August 24 said that the Songun politics of Kim Jong Il is a fresh and unique political mode which is based on the Juche idea and consolidated and developed the principle of giving priority to military affairs, consistently maintained by President Kim Il Sung in the decades-long arduous revolutionary struggle, into a state leadership mode.
