Congratulatory Visits Paid to DPRK Missions in Foreign Countries

| Pyongyang, September 2 (KCNA) -- A delegation of the Union Solidarity and Development, Union of Myanmar led by the administrative director of the party visited the DPRK embassy in Myanmar on August 25 in congratulation of the 50th anniversary of General Secretary Kim Jong Il's start of the Songun revolutionary leadership. Foreign figures also paid congratulatory visits to the DPRK missions in their countries on August 24 and 25. Among them were the secretary general of the Yangon City Development Committee, who was authorized by Aung Thein Lynn, mayor of Yangon City of Myanmar who doubles as chairman of the committee, Rashed Khan Menon, chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Bangladesh, Garib Newaz, president of the Bangladesh People's League, Chairman Dolgachev, Vice-Chairman Astakhov and other members of the Far Eastern Association for the Study of the Songun Policy and the Juche Idea of Russia. They laid floral baskets and bouquets before the portraits of President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and the full-length painting of the peerlessly great men standing together and paid tribute to them. |
