At the championships opened from Aug. 25 which brought together 14 units including the Pyongyang City and provincial Taekwon-do teams, the Pyongyang City Taekwon-do Team came first in total as it registered high records in several events.

Present there were Chairman of the Korean Taekwon-Do Committee Hwang Pong Yong, Minister of Urban Management Hwang Hak Won, officials concerned, players and school youth and children.

Hwang Pong Yong made a closing address.
