Noting that Kim Jong Il comprehensively formulated and systemized the Songun revolutionary theory and has applied it to practice, the statement said that the DPRK would have been despoiled of its sovereignty by the U.S. imperialists long ago but for his Songun revolutionary leadership.

It stressed that the DPRK remains undaunted though the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet authorities are getting evermore undisguised in their moves for aggression against it after the fabrication of the case of warship "Cheonan".

This is a brilliant fruition of the five decades-long Songun revolutionary leadership of Kim Jong Il, the statement added.

On the same day Harising Khang, member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of India (Marxist), and Saber Ballul, department head of the Political Faculty of University of Damascus in Syria, too, made public statements praising Kim Jong Il's Songun revolutionary leadership feats.
