Ten years since the repatriation of the unconverted long-term prisoners were the period that proved the truth of revolution that the noble self-sacrificing struggle waged by the revolutionaries and patriots for the country and the nation was not in vain but is sure to shine long.

The reality in which those prisoners repatriated to the north at the same time and came to enjoy the happiest life patently proves that the DPRK is the genuine motherland for the revolutionaries and people and the cradle of loving care and benevolence which they should defend to the last, always entrusting their destiny and future to it.

Recalling that General Secretary Kim Jong Il valued and embraced them, bestowing upon them the greatest glory and happiness, the editorial noted that this legend-like story will always go down in the noble history of comradeship of the Korean revolution.

The struggle and life of the above-said prisoners teach truth that only highest honor, happiness and a worthy life are in store for the revolutionary soldiers only when they have firm faith in their leaders and remain true to their cause to the last.

The editorial calls on all the party members and other working people to devotedly defend Kim Jong Il and share the idea and desire with him just as the unconverted long-term prisoners undauntedly struggled, picturing to themselves President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il only awake or asleep, though left all alone on an isolated island, and make a long journey for the Songun revolution to the last.
