Juha Kieksy, chairman of the Finnish National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, said that Kim Jong Il defended the country's sovereignty and dignity and reliably safeguarded the peace and security in the Korean Peninsula and the rest of Northeast Asia.

Recalling that he further cemented the single-minded unity of the Korean society with his Songun leadership and brought about such eye-opening reality as advancing by leaps and bounds towards a thriving nation, he added that the original Songun politics pursued by him serves as a beacon of hope for the world progressives.

The Juche idea followers in Finland express full support for his Songun politics, he noted.

The participants in the film show watched "Mangyongdae", "Reply of Korea" and other Korean films.

A message of greetings to Kim Jong Il was adopted at the event in Finland.
