The general secretary of the International Alliance of Societies for the Study of the Juche Idea and Songun Policy in East European and Central Asian Regions said at the seminar one can say that the Songun politics of Kim Jong Il was the main factor that enabled the DPRK, not a big country, to protect its sovereignty and dignity and win victory standing in confrontation with the U.S. styling itself the "only superpower" in the world.

The chairman of the All-Russian Society for the Study and Dissemination of Kimilsungism said at the seminar that Kim Jong Il has pursued the unique Songun politics, protecting the sovereignty of the country and dignity of the nation and reliably ensuring peace and security in the Korean Peninsula and the rest of Northeast Asia.

Rashed Khan Menon, chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Bangladesh, Garib Newaz, president of the Bangladesh People's League, and others said in their speeches at a meeting that the history of Kim Jong Il's Songun revolutionary leadership is a praiseworthy history in which he built a matchless military force and led the showdown with the imperialists and the U.S. to victory.

Jorgen Petersen, chairman of the National Leadership of the Communist Party of Denmark, said at a meeting that Kim Jong Il formulated the Songun politics as a main political mode under socialism as required by the changed reality.
