Pyongyang, September 5 (KCNA) -- The puppet Seoul Central District Court of south Korea Thursday gave a verdict of not guilty to three persons including Yun Han Bong, former director of the Institute for Studies of Future of the Nation, who were allegedly involved in the case of the National Democratic Youths and Students League. When actions were staged to distribute leaflets opposing the "Yusin" system in Seoul in 1974, the fascist dictatorial forces proclaimed "emergency measure" No. 4, branding the above-said organization as an "underground organization for the communist revolution" and arresting many students through the mobilization of the CIA, police and prosecution of south Korea at that time and thereby bringing charges of "attempted rebellion" to them. This was known to be the case of NDYSL. At that time the fascist dictatorial forces sentenced them to prison terms on charges of violation of the SL and an attempt at a rebellion and mercilessly cracked down upon students. As regards this case, the puppet court authorities admitted the suppression by the then security forces and declared them not guilty. |
