The Bulgaria-Korea Friendship Association carried an article titled "50th anniversary of Songun revolutionary leadership" in its bulletin.

Kim Jong Il has inspected the Seoul Ryu Kyong Su 105 Guards Tank Division of the Korean People's Army several times and strengthened the division in aspects of politico-ideology and military technique since he started his Songun revolutionary leadership by providing field guidance to it, the bulletin said, adding: His inspection to a unit under the division early in January this year was the manifestation of his steadfast will to dynamically advance the cause of socialism with the might of Songun.

The bulletin referred to the facts that the division performed feats in the operation to liberate Seoul during the last Fatherland Liberation War and that under the banner of Songun the self-reliant defence capabilities have been further increased and unprecedented eye-opening miracles wrought one after another on all fronts of socialist construction in the DPRK.

The bulletin in an article titled "Birthday of DPRK" noted that the DPRK has turned into a developed and prosperous country with the independent national economy thanks to President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

In articles entitled "10th anniversary of June 15 North-South Joint Declaration" and "Conclusion of peace treaty is prerequisite to disarmament" the bulletin said that the inter-Korean joint declarations are the most just great programme for Korea's reunification and the idea of "By our nation itself" is the spirit and idea of the Korean nation in the June 15 era of reunification, adding that a peace treaty for terminating the state of war, the root cause of hostile relations, should be concluded before anything else to denuclearize the Korean Peninsula.

The Nepal-Korea Friendship Association ran in its bulletin an article introducing the Songun leadership exploits of Kim Jong Il.
