On display in the venue were works of President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il and publications introducing Songun Korea.

Ramon Jimenez Lopez, president of the Mexican Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism who is president of the Mexican National Coordinating Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, noted in his speech at the seminar that the DPRK is Korean-style state that was founded to suit the specific conditions of Korea and the desire of the people, guided by the Juche idea and a peculiar socialist state centered on the popular masses in which the people are the masters of everything and everything serves them.

Noting that Kim Jong Il has steadily consolidated and developed the DPRK into the Juche-oriented socialist state with the invincible might with his Songun revolutionary leadership, he said that the DPRK advancing under Kim Jong Il's Songun revolutionary leadership will always shine as
Kim Il Sung's Korea.

Juan Campos Vega, chairman of the Mexican Institute for the Study of the Juche Idea, and other speakers spoke with high appreciation that the President set forth the original idea on state-building and built the socialist power -- independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in national defence -- and that Kim Jong Il developed the DPRK into an invincible power.

Jesus Antonio Carlos Hernandez, general secretary of the C.C., the People's Socialist Party of Mexico, released a statement on Sept. 1 on the same occasion.
