Present there from the DPRK side were members of the delegation headed by Minister of People's Security Ju Sang Song and from the Lao side were members of the delegation led by Minister of Public Security Thongbanh Seng A Phone, secretary of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, and Chaleune Warinthrasak, Lao ambassador to the DPRK.

At the talks both sides exchanged views on the matter of developing cooperation between the two countries in the field of security and issues of mutual concern.
