Birthday of DPRK Celebrated at Its Missions

Pyongyang, September 17 (KCNA) -- Receptions were given and book and photo exhibitions, friendly meetings and films shows held at the DPRK missions in China, Russia, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Syria, Mongolia, Iran, Nepal, Malaysia, Indonesia, India, Bangladesh, Myanmar, South Africa, Ethiopia, Mexico, Brazil, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Poland and Uzbekistan between Sept. 3 and 9 to celebrate the 62nd birthday of the DPRK.

On display in their venues were works of President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il, photos on their glorious revolutionary career and immortal exploits and books and photos showing the course of victory and glory covered by the DPRK.

Appreciated at the film shows were "The Country Shining with Arms of Mt. Paektu", "Korea with Long History", "The Tower of the Juche Idea", "Fireworks for a Thriving Nation", "Pyongyang at Night" and other Korean films.

Present at the events on invitation were personages of different circles and chiefs of Juche idea study organizations and friendship and solidarity organizations in those countries and diplomatic envoys and representatives of international organizations to them.
