Story of Kim Jong Suk

Pyongyang, September 17 (KCNA) -- One spring day in Juche 38 (1949) anti-Japanese heroine Kim Jong Suk had a talk with women from south Korea at the foot of the picturesque Moran Hill. The women had waged a valiant struggle in south Korea against the U.S. imperialists and other anti-reunification forces, upholding President Kim Il Sung's policy of national reunification. Offering them dishes she prepared at home, she said she was very happy to meet them, true comrades working hard to relieve the President of his deep concern over the country's reunification. She also said that the President, who had fought against the Japanese imperialists in thick forests of Mt. Paektu not taking rest and meal properly, worked until late at night every day for the reunification of the country though it was liberated. Noting that she felt like fighting together with them for the sacred cause of the country's reunification, she requested them to stand in the van of the struggle to reunify the country as wished by the President. |
