The first page of the No. 1 issue of the paper carries portraits of President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il and letters "Banner of Mt. Paektu" against the background of the Lake Chon on Mt. Paektu and the national flag of the DPRK. Seen in the paper is an article introducing brisk activities now underway in the Far East of Russia to significantly greet the centenary of birth of the President.

Appearing on the third and fifth pages of the paper are articles praising the Songun revolutionary leadership exploits of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and the essence, validity and vitality of the Songun politics together with photos showing the revolutionary activities of the three commanders of Mt. Paektu.

The paper on its second, fourth, sixth, seventh and eighth pages carries photo-accompanied articles introducing the undying exploits of nation-building performed by the President, significant celebrations held in the Far East of Russia on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Kim Jong Il's start of the Songun revolutionary leadership and positive activities for the study and dissemination of the Juche idea and the Songun idea and for solidarity with the Korean people.
