The bulletin carried a picture of Kim Jong Il and an article titled "Ideal of HE Kim Jong Il", which said:

HE Kim Jong Il of the DPRK recited poem "O Korea, I Will Add Glory to Thee" on September 1, 1960 when he was enrolled at Kim Il Sung University.

As one can read through the title of the poem, it was the ideal that he cherished in his early years to glorify Korea to the whole world.

Succeeding to the cause of President Kim Il Sung, he mapped out a plan to build in Korea a great prosperous and powerful socialist nation whose strength is inexhaustible and where everything thrives and the people lead a happy life with nothing more to need.

It is the steadfast will of Kim Jong Il to certainly open the gate to a thriving nation in 2012, the centenary of birth of the President.

Noting that his energetic leadership has brought about epoch-making changes one after another in various fields of the national economy of the DPRK in recent years, the bulletin further said:

The international community keenly realizes that Kim Il Sung's lifelong desire and Kim Jong Il's ideal are being translated into reality in the DPRK with the 2012 approaching.

The DPRK will demonstrate its might as a thriving socialist nation as intended by Kim Jong Il.
