Wreaths Laid before Different Martyrs Cemeteries
Pyongyang, September 22 (KCNA) -- Wreaths were laid before the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt. Taesong and the Patriotic Martyrs Cemetery on Wednesday on the occasion of the Harvest Moon Day.

Seen standing on the wreath-laying stands were wreaths sent by General Secretary Kim Jong Il.

Present there were senior party, army and state officials, the chairperson of a friendly party, officials of the party, armed forces and power organs, working people's organizations, ministries and national institutions, servicepersons of the KPA and the Korean People's Internal Security Forces and working people in Pyongyang.

Laid there were wreaths in the name of the Central Committee of the WPK, the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly and Cabinet of the DPRK.

Placed then were wreaths in the name of the Ministry of the People's Armed Forces, the Ministry of People's Security, units of the KPA, ministries and national institutions, educational, cultural, art, public health and media institutions and party and power organs, enterprises and farms in Pyongyang.

The participants paid silent tribute to the martyrs who dedicated themselves to the country's liberation, freedom and happiness of the people, victory in the drive to build a great prosperous and powerful socialist nation, the country's independent reunification and the accomplishment of the revolutionary cause of Juche.

On the same day wreaths were laid before the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery in Hyesan and cemeteries and graves of martyrs in different areas in the name of local party and power organs, working people's organizations, factories, enterprises, farms, schools, etc.
