Actions against Anti-Workers Policy Declared in S. Korea
Pyongyang, September 22 (KCNA) -- The south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions at a meeting in Seoul on Sept. 16 vowed to struggle against the puppet authorities' policy against workers.

The organization reiterated its will to intensify its actions to have the issue of part-time jobs and the issue of re-amending the law on trade unions, etc. settled by carrying forward the spirit of Martyr Jon Thae Il who burnt himself to death in protest against the dictatorial regime.

The organization declared that it would carry on its actions to foil the crackdown upon the union, force the Lee Myung Bak regime to step down, halt the projects for the improvement of the four large rivers and win back the right to existence and boost the solidarity and alliance with progressive forces.

It, at the same time, declared that it would conduct dynamic activities for achieving the peace and reunification of the Korean Peninsula with the 3rd anniversary of the publication of the October 4 declaration at hand.
